We are delighted to share the link below showcasing the outcome of the Digital Explorations Project, funded by the Rothschild Foundation.

In 2019 we stated working with the National Paralympic Heritage Trust on an exciting project that aimed to digitalise the trusts collection, whilst giving training and employment opportunities to people in the disabled community.

Through our company Ursae Ltd, we helped train the participants to 3D scan items within the collection, as well as teaching them how to fix and edit files.

We are truly delighted to have been a part of this fantastic project, and it’s just great to see it all come together, in this digital gallery space.

Congratulations to everyone involved, and for all the hard work and dedication. Well done guys! 👏🏻🥂

Since I first started in the trade, whilst at university, The Goldsmiths’ Company have been there to support me throughout my professional development. I am extremely grateful for the opportunities the Company have created, and now a Freeman of the company, I look forward to continuing to support others in learning new skills, as well as helping aspiring designers and makers get into the trade.

W A X - M O D E L S

Even though we use 3-D printing to cast directly from wax into metal, it’s a brilliant way to make sure things fit perfectly to one another, especially around existing pieces of jewellery.

It’s also a really useful aid when showing clients how a design will look in person before committing to cast.

Creating 3-D CAD models and 3-D printing prototypes/designs is all part of our bespoke service for our clients and for our trade based customers of established Jewellers & Silversmiths.
